Munchies Review #004- Lays BLT Sandwich Chips

Lays is at it again. This time with BLT artificial flavoring. Lays, a popular potato chip brand known for their flavorings. However, I'm sad to report that this does not taste like bacon, lettuce, or tomato flavorings. Nor any combination of the three. An odd taste reminiscent of some sort of vinegar. The flavoring that currently rests in my mouth causes my mind wander to a strange place. My flavored mind currently believes that this flavoring was originally intended to be released as a "mystery flavor" promotion. However, to Lays surprise, not one beta taster was able to identify the intended flavoring of this mystery flavor. So I wager, this was mystery flavor in disguise all along! Due to the actual flavoring itself being impossible to determine, the Lays board agreed that it would be best to abandon the gimmick to figure out for themselves exactly, "What is this mystery flavor?" No one on the board could agree on one flavor in particular, so they cross examined their results with more taste testers. After sampling what my flavored mind can only assume to be 200576 taste testers, one volunteer had an answer which finally aligned with one of the board members blind guesses. This was the only match. Out of all the testers, only two guesses would match up during this mystery flavor experiment. Both of these individuals wrote, "BLT" as a shot in the dark because they were at a loss for words of what flavoring they were actually tasting. Not being paid enough to care, and since no other tester could come up with a match, everyone started guessing "BLT" after the quietest of rumblings made their way out. So, as a result, they slapped BLT on the label and released it to the public's mouth holes. Here at Stonerman, Homer and Steven went the extra mile by experimenting to see if Lays intention was for this flavoring to pair with an actual BLT sandwich. And while you can argue these chips can indeed pair with BLT's by adding a vinegar type flavor that outshines the sandwich itself. I personally believe you would be better off with an original salty potato chip flavor to accompany your sandwich needs. Leaving Lays BLT floating in a purgatory of enigmas wrapped in riddles. The true flavor and the chip's existence will forever remain the biggest mystery of all.
